The role
You’ll be responsible for running a new in-house catering provision for Audley staff by creating great value food options and a welcoming atmosphere within an office-based setting, whilst maintaining the existing kitchen assistant responsibilities including provision of employee refreshments, ensuring the kitchens are kept clean, tidy & well stocked.  

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with the creation and upkeep of a varied food provision menu 
  • Preparation and the serving of food to Audley staff 
  • Ensure the food preparation area and offerings are managed and maintained to a high level of service and cleanliness 
  • Managing the stock levels & orders for the staff food provision 
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed 
  • Completing any administration & accounting for the food provision as requested 
  • Ensure that the kitchens are kept clean and tidy: 
  • Loading/unloading of dishwashers 
  • Wiping down & sanitising of worktops 
  • Empty general, recycling & food waste bins  
  • Ensure crockery and cutlery appropriately distributed across multiple kitchens 
  • Clean out fridges once a week 
  • Stock checking & placing orders for staff refreshments (tea, coffee, milk etc) & tuck shop items 
  • Ensuring staff refreshments & the tuck shop stock are replenished throughout the day  
About you
You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, a passion for food and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Additional experience required:
  • Experience of providing catering services  
  • Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate (or willingness to work towards it) 
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety 
  • Good levels of literacy and numeracy 
  • High level of attention to detail 
  • Personable with a flexible attitude 
  • Have the ability to work independently 
  • Organised 
  • Self-motivated
