The role
As the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst you’ll work closely with Finance and the wider business so will ideally have partnering experience and be comfortable liaising with stakeholders of varying levels.
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, your key focus will be to support the Project Management Team with financial reporting and analysis of all project expenditure, where there is significant investment and transformation underway towards optimising the client travel experience with Audley.

You’ll support additional reporting and forecasting processes, mainly for the services/central divisions and group views, which will involve working with large sets of data from multiple data platforms and modelling this into relevant reports and management information for internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who is confident analysing and interpreting data, creating hypotheses about business performance and with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:
Project Management Team support
  • Lead and develop timely forecasting, accurate reporting and analysis of all project expenditure
  • Evaluate investment proposals, prepare benefit cases and implement KPIs to track delivery of projects through the various phases
  • Collaborate closely with both the Project and Financial Reporting teams to ensure correct accounting treatment of costs/resources (CapEx/OpEx)

Reporting, forecasting and analytics
  • Support of key components and processes within the business-as-usual (BAU) budgeting and forecasting cycle
  • Support on high profile financial planning tasks such as refinancing, capital structure optimisation and the sale process
  • Support the BAU reporting and compliance cycle, i.e. the delivery of management information/data, analysis and PowerPoint presentations for key stakeholders (Board, Management, Lenders and Regulators)
  • Assisting on strategic/business reviews, general analysis, ad-hoc projects, meeting material

Experience required:
  • Newly or part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent 
  • Demonstratable experience in forecasting, analysis and reporting on large data sets
  • Strong Excel user, with proven financial modelling skills
  • Proficient user of remaining Office 365 applications, mainly PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Experience of Power BI/BI tools would be preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Detailed analytical and questioning approach, with creative problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to produce high quality and accurate work in demanding timescales
  • A team player who can work collaboratively with peers as well as independently
  • Ability to work within a diverse, global workforce that is oriented around customer satisfaction
